Hello Kids Spot Families!

We are very happy to see all of the news about states and counties lifting the stay-at- home order, and beginning to return back to normal. Like you, we are are very anxious to get back into the gym! While the sate of Illinois has started to lift some restrictions, Winnebago County is still on a stay-at-home order, and Kids Spot will follow these regulations. We’re paying close attention to gyms in other states, community leaders, and experts in our industry to provide the safest experience possible for our students, staff and community when we return.

We are currently reviewing our class schedules, gym layout, and summer camp plans to ensure every safety guideline is met when we return. We’re also looking into hosting classes at new times of the day, to offer the most convenient time and most safe place for everybody.

We’ve had a lot of families ask about Summer Camp, and we’re happy to say that we are currently planning on hosting Summer Camp beginning June 1st. Currently, our plan is to host camps in small groups, and keeping each small group separate, to keep everybody as safe as possible. Obviously, nobody can predict the future, and anything is still possible, but given what we know today, we are planning on hosting Summer Camp beginning June 1st.

We anticipate opening our gym in stages, beginning with our competitive teams and summer camp. Next will come our 6 & up recreational classes, followed by our preschool classes, and finally birthday parties and events. While we don’t currently have a hard planned date for each of these steps, we will be sharing them as they are decided. Families that are currently enrolled in our teams, summer camp and classes will be the first to be notified regarding our re-opening dates! Keep an eye on our social media and emails, as we continue to develop these details.
