Dance Classes

The recreational program is perfect for dancers of all ages and skill levels. We offer classes for 18 months and up. Class offerings include focused styles like ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, along with combination classes that allow dancers to experience multiple styles in one class. This program is a great fit for those who want to enjoy dance, stay active, and develop fundamental skills without committing to a competitive team.

Dance Babies

Ages 18 Months - 2 Years

This is a developmental class where the Parent/Guardian plays an integral role in class by providing comfort and modeling participation. This class offers an introduction to class participation skills and an environment for children to developmentally grow, both independently and socially to help transition your children into a dance class on their own. Activities will explore gross motor skill development and rhythm activities.

Little Leapers

Ages 2-3

Your tiny dancer will have a ball exploring all the amazing things their bodies can do in this creative movement class created just for them! Laughing and smiling, spinning and twirling, our Little Leapers class is sure to be a hit with your little dancer. All dancers will need pink ballet shoes.

Combo Classes

Ages 3-4

Tapping and twirling are on the agenda for the aspiring dancer in this class. By introducing the fundamentals of both Tap and Ballet, your little dancer will see all the wonderful things the world of dance has to offer. All Dancers will need pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Funky Monkeys

Ages 3-5

Your tiny dancer will have to bust a move in this Hip Hop class created just for them! They will learn simple hip hop techniques while feeling the beat. Laughing, smiling, waving and popping, our Funky Monkeys class is sure to be a hit with your little dancer. Tennis shoes are required for this class.

Ages 5 & Up

This class covers exclusively Hip-Hop, teaching fundamentals, movement and technique. Tennis shoes are required for this class.

Ballet/Tap

Ages 5 & Up

This class is sure to create a well-rounded dancer focusing on the fundamentals of tap and ballet! All dancers are required to wear pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes.

Meet The Director

Mya Hernandez

Mya Hernandez is a recent 2021 College graduate from Beloit College. She double majored in Dance and Health and Society. Prior to expanding her dance education at Beloit, she trained with Anissa Jones at Marx Dance Academy, Kimberly Dailey at Turning Point Dance Company, and Joey Hernandez at Resilience Dance Company; she has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Mya got the opportunity to work with Los Angeles-based choreographers such as Cat Cogliandro, Kobi Rozenfeld, and Jessica Starr, etc. During her time at Resilience Dance Company (Rockford, IL under Joey Hernandez). Her performance credits include Get It Out There (Milwaukee, WI), December Dance Concert (Beloit, WI), and Chelonia Dance Concert (Beloit, WI). She looks forward to sharing her knowledge of dance with every single student that steps foot in the studio.

Meet The Director

Coach Trinity

Trinity Lundsten began dancing at 4 years old. She has been technically trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, heels, and many more. At the age of 4, she started dancing for Turning Pointe Dance Company and competing with them. At age 6, she started dancing at Visceral Dance Company in Chicago, IL. At age 11, she discovered hip-hop and started training in Chicago. Trinity has traveled to Argentina, Florida, California, Michigan, Texas, New York, and Wisconsin, to perform and compete. At age 13, Trinity accomplished one of her biggest goals, which is becoming a member of the professional group, The Puzzle League, out of Chicago. She danced with them for five years. Some performance opportunities she has been a part of are dancing with Jennifer Hudson, doing car commercials, trying out for The World of Dance TV show, and performing in the New Year's Eve special with ABC and Disney Productions. Trinity says, "One of my biggest blessings in life so far has been becoming the dance director for Turning Pointe Dance Company." She has been a director for three years so far and loves teaching all her kids, who have a special place in her heart.
