Meet The Director

Hey everyone, my name is Jacob, and I’m really excited to step into the role of Summer Camp Director this year!
I’ve been part of the Kids Spot family for three years now, and I’ve worn just about every hat you can imagine around here—Events Director,  Preschool Teacher, Summer Camp Counselor, Tumbling & Gymnastics Instructor, After School Care and School’s Out Camp counselor, Gym Kids Instructor, Ninja Coach, and even jumping in to help at the front desk when things get busy. If you’ve been around the gym much, there’s a good chance we’ve crossed paths.
I’ve been married to my wife Erica for 13 years ,and we’ve got two awesome kids—our daughter Cali is 7 and our son Colton is 6. They keep me on my toes and remind me every day what makes this work so special.
My biggest goal has always been to create a place where kids feel completely safe, while having an absolute blast and even learning some new things along the way. I love seeing the smiles on their faces every day and I always make a point to ask each one of them how they are doing and how their day is going. This summer I’ve got some really fun stuff lined up that I think they’re going to love, and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
