Press Release

Thursday, July 22nd

Between Saturday, July 10th, and Wednesday, July 14th, our competitive dance team attended a competition in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After this dance competition, a small number of the attendees were found to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19. Upon testing, some of the identified individuals did test positive for COVID-19.

At this time, no person who has tested positive for COVID-19 has entered any Kids Spot facility. All individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 have not been in our facility since July 6th.

Our instructional dance program held its last gathering over the weekend of June 25th - 27th. No participants in our instructional dance program have tested positive for COVID-19.

We would like to emphasize that neither our dance team nor instructional dance program has met in any capacity since July 8th.

Kids Spot will continue to uphold the high standard for cleanliness and sanitization that we are known for.

Given this current situation, we have chosen to take extra precautions moving forward. Beginning Friday, July 23rd, we will require all individuals to wear a face covering and practice social distancing while in our facility, regardless of vaccination status. Temperature checks will actively be enforced at all of our entrances. These changes will remain in effect until further notice.
