Gym
Simply put, it means we combine our love for being active with our love for learning. Children want to get up, move around and play! At Kids Spot, we know that children learn through playing!
Learn
Our curriculum is designed from the ground up to prepare your child for Kindergarten. We learn about reading, writing, phonics, math, Spanish, music, and so much more!

How We Challenge Our Children
Physical & Motor
It’s no secret - exercise boosts cognitive performance, and helps stimulate mental growth and focus. Other benefits include improved sleep and decreased risk of health problems.
Intellectual
Our daily curriculum includes phonics, reading, writing, sound and letter recognition, and math.
Emotional
Our loving teachers create a safe, positive, and healthy environment for your child to academically and physically excel.
Our Curriculum Includes...
Writing
We learn to write our name and other short words. We also learn to write every letter, A to Z, both capital and lowercase.
Spanish
We learn colors, numbers, and other basic words and phrases in Spanish.
Phonics
We learn how each letter sounds, how to rhyme words, and how to blend words together!
Science
We learn to investigate and explore the world around us! We learn how to ask questions and think logically.
Emotional Skills
We learn about the feelings we have, how to express them, and having empathy for other's feelings.
Reading
We learn letter recognition, sight words, and sentence types such as questions and statements.
Tumbling
We learn basic tumbling skills such as cartwheels and rolls, which promote strength and body control.
Math
We learn number recognition, counting, adding small numbers, matching, and pattern recognition.
Technology Skills
We use computers, tablets, and a smart board almost every day to familiarize students with the world of technology!
Social Studies
We learn about the world around us, including our regional area and other states.
Gymnastics
We use gymnastics to increase balance, range of motion, and dexterity!
Music
We learn about rhythm, tempo, and melody. We learn songs as a group, and have a weekly music lesson with Mr. Ben!
Calendar Skills
We learn days of the week, months of the year, and how to read and use dates.
Dance
We use dance as a fun, engaging learning tool, and even participate in Kids Spot's winter dance recital!
Social Skills
We learn about teamwork, sharing, and working together as a group. We also learn basic communication skills such as asking questions and listening.
Meet The Director!
Claire Joyce
I grew up right here in Roscoe and have always had a passion for working with kids and helping them learn and grow. I have been working in childcare for almost 10 years and have always loved Preschool. I have been the director of multiple preschool programs within daycare centers. There’s nothing more rewarding then helping a child understand a concept they didn’t know before. I truly love every second of what I do!
